NEW YORK CITY! {San Antonio Portrait and Destination Photographer}

It's TRUE!
We are finally heading to New York City!
This has been in the works for almost two years but is finally going to happen.
May 24-28...Memorial Weekend
I have only been to the Big Apple ONE time and I am so excited to return for more than one day!
This time I even have a native New Yorker to guide to me to the best spots to photograph some of the
New York City Highlights.

Central Park. The Brooklyn Bridge. Times Square. Statue of Liberty.
Whatever YOU want!
But one thing is for sure...we are going to have a BLAST!

Who is this session for?
High School Seniors.
Families.
Engagements.
Bridals
Teens and Tweens.

I can only imagine the amazing possibilities in the City and I can't wait to capture the magic!

Call ASAP as I only have TWO sessions available.

Destination Session fees ($650) and Minimum Orders Apply ($2000)
If you are a High School Senior and want to SPLIT a session with a friend, it is possible,
all you have to do is ASK!

Destination Sessions are between 2-3 hours long and include as many different locations
that we can fit into that time frame.
OR you can hire me for an ALL-DAY adventure:
Wherever you want to go. As many locations as we can do in one day.
Hanging out on the streets of NYC, Chillin' in Central Park and/or
Dressed Up for a show with the NYC skyline in the background.
You are only limited by your imagination.

Call us to discuss the possibilities.

Two of my MOST favorite NEW recipes!

This has NOTHING to do with photography but
everything to do with being a Wife and Mother (my other two occupations)
I LOVE Pinterest. And by LOVE, I mean, I am not sure I could honestly
live without it. At least not and have some great new
recipes WITH PICTURES!!!

Here are two of my favorite NEW finds.
I did not write these recipes.
I am NOT a chef.
But I do appreciate EASY recipes that taste
DELICIOUS and make my family HAPPY!

Carrot Cake Cookies

by Inside BruCrew Life

 Prep Time: 40 minutes
Cook Time: 10-11 minutes
6030936
Ingredients:
  • 1 carrot cake mix
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. Kraft caramel bits
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, butter, eggs, vanilla, and cinnamon. Beat until combined. Stir in the white chips and caramel bits by hand. Chill dough in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. For dough into 1- 1 1/2 inch balls and place on baking sheet. Bake at 350* for 10-11 minutes. Let cool on pan 2-3 minutes. Gently remove from pan to cooling rack. Cool completely. Store in air tight container.
Note: Use a metal spatula to remove the cookies from the baking sheet. The caramel will start to stick to the pan if you leave it cool too much.
Cookie dough ready for the oven

Yummy cookies ready to eat!

BBQ Crock Pot Chicken
From "stick a fork in it"

1-2 pounds of boneless chicken breasts or tenders
1 bottle BBQ sauce
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (or more if you like the heat)
1/4 c brown sugar
1 tsp garlic powder

Mix the BBQ sauce with all ingredients listed under it. Place the chicken in slow cooker and pour the sauce over. Cook on LOW for 4-5 hours. If the sauce is too watery at the end, use corn starch or cook on high with the lid open to thicken things. Either serve the chicken in whole pieces or shred and soak in sauce for 10 minutes.

I added the chicken into the slow cooker FROZEN and it turned out perfect after 5 hours on low. How easy is that?

Let me know how you like them! Enjoy!

Easter 2013 {San Antonio Children's Photographer}

Spring is fast approaching and this year we will have
 TWO different options for you!
The first is
Barnyard Fun!
Saturday March 23
A more casual portrait complete with barnyard animals
such as a goat, a chicken and bunnies.
This scene would look great in jeans or cute spring clothing.
Here is an example of what the scene will look like. This sample was from several years ago and this years' scene will differ slightly.
Our other option is a more formal and simple portrait session...
Classic Easter
Sunday March 24
This session will look fabulous in your Easter Sunday outfits.
We will have live bunnies for the children to hold and have their portraits made with, however, we will also create a beautiful portrait that will have a more timeless approach without an "Easter" theme.

Whatever scene you choose, you and your child are sure to have
some amazing images to choose from at a reasonable price.

Sessions start at $35 with a minimum portrait order of $150
