After a couple of years of cancelled or rescheduled plans, we are definitely ready to finally travel again!

It seems as if many of you are feeling the same way. Let's travel the world and maybe we can meet up at one of the beautiful locations the world has to offer. I already have plans for some travel, but I do still have openings for other locations. The time to plan is NOW, so we can make sure to get it on our calendars!

Session Fee: $650 

Session includes multiple locations around desired destination at Sunrise or Sunset. Session usually lasts 2-3 hours.

 Minimum Purchase: $2500 

With such amazing locations and 3 hours worth of photography, you are sure to want to remember the experience with some pretty awesome products. Most of our Destination Portrait families choose a beautiful custom coffee table album and a large single Wall Portrait or Wall Portrait Collection of some of their favorite images.

My Iceland Adventure

Iceland was Amazing. An incredible view of natural beauty at every turn of the trail.

I photograph for a living. Every day for the last 29 years. I LOVE my job, but sometimes I need to get back to photographing just for me. Just me, my camera and God's Masterpiece.

And rain.

Lots of rain. 

But with rain came waterfalls and rainbows.

Just like life. You have to take a little bad with the good as it makes the good that much sweeter.

Here are a few of my favorite images. There are so many images that I love, but these are a little special. Thanks for taking a look!

Moss Covered Lava Rocks reminded me of a place where Trolls live

We never got to see the peaks, but it's glorious nonetheless.

Diamond Beach. Glacier icebergs washed up on the beach. My favorite place to photograph.

The time has finally arrived for us to reveal our Brand New SANTA to you!

Meet Santa Jerod!

   When Santa Terry told us he was retiring after 26 years with us, we were so sad. We             floundered a bit wondering if this was the end of our Portraits with Santa?

Then, we met Santa Jerod! 

His kind demeanor, wonderful attitude and joy for all things Christmas made us realize that we weren't done yet. So we brainstormed some new ideas and are excited to present to you our Christmas 2021 Santa Experience!

Portraits with Santa are specifically designed for children only. If parents want a Holiday Themed Portrait, please scroll down to our sessions without Santa.

A COZY CHRISTMAS

November 7th Only

Join Santa in his beautiful home library. This set has a bit of a vintage feel with the furnishings and old tv. Wear your fancy Christmas Clothing or Adorable Pajamas and be prepared to share some popcorn, a movie and a book with Santa while he is visiting us in San Antonio.

What To Wear?

This set has a very classic feel, so traditional Christmas colors would look perfect! Dress the kids in their Holiday best as if just returning home from a Christmas Eve Party or dress them in adorable pajamas as if they are getting ready for their final sleep before Santa arrives.

A Wizarding World....September 2021!

  A few years ago, I decided to create a portrait of my teenage son that really depicted what he absolutely LOVED at that age....all things Harry Potter!

He has read ALL the books (several times), seen ALL the movies many, many times AND even been to the London studio where many of the movie scenes were filmed. Let's just say he is slightly obsessed.

Seeing that I have never watched a full movie and never read a page in the book, I relied on him to help me set the scene for his themed portrait session. Thanks to my friend Google, I drew inspiration from the movie posters and stills from the movie scenes and we created A Wizarding World!

Now Jackson is not a huge fan of being my model, but for this session he was ALL IN. We had a blast creating these images, capturing flying books, and he loved putting spells on me. Of course.

Everyone we have shown these to has RAVED about the images and wished they had ones just like them. So....we have decided to create an event just for all the Harry Potter fans out there.

DETAILS:

These sessions are 30 minutes in length and designed especially for kids and young adults.

While the set is designed with one person in mind, we are able to fit up to 3 people at the most.

Robes and Ties will be provided, in addition to Books and Wands. 

Have your own outfit, wand or HP stuff? Great! You may totally use your own things!

This session is a LIMITED EDITION. 

That means for a limited time we are offering this set with all the cool props for a limited number of sessions. Our limit is only TEN SESSIONS!

After each session we will need time to sanitize the set and props for our next little wizard. Your safety is a concern and we are taking all the necessary steps to be sure everyone stays healthy.

What are the BEST SPOTS for Summer Family Portraits?

 Believe it or not, as of this moment, Summer is half over. That actually makes me sad. I love summer time. It's such a stress free time for my family. Life is slower paced and we get to spend more time just being together. The problem is that is just goes by WAY TOO FAST!

I am often asked what are the best locations to photograph families in the summer. There are several places that are at the top of my list and here they are:

#1 THE BEACH: Of course, the number 1 place is a favorite family vacation spot. While there are many beautiful beaches all over the world, there is a great beach just 2.5 hours away. North Padre Island/Port Aransas is beautiful at sunrise and sunset and a fabulous location for that summer family portrait that you have always wanted.

#2 THE RIVER: The river I go to most often is the Guadalupe, but we have several rivers that are not far from San Antonio. The best time, just like the beach is sunrise or sunset, but the rewards for photographing at that time are plenty. Less crowds and beautiful light, not to mention the heat of the day will not be present during those times.

#3 YOUR HOME: There is no place more special than the place you and your family call home. Your backyard, your front porch, your living room....we can do a little bit of everything. Simply ask for an "In Home Consultation" so I can check out all of your favorite spots. Have a RANCH or some Property or a LAKE HOUSE instead? Let's chat about the possibilities.

#4 FAVORITE VACATION SPOT: You know I LOVE to travel! So I am always game to meet you at the mountains, on an island or in a jungle. The sky is the limit....literally. I have actually photographed from a helicopter before :) Never hesitate to ask about your dream location!

#5 THE PORTRAIT STUDIO: We have air-conditioning inside the studio and it's a great place to put on your After 5 attire! A Formal portrait is beautiful on the walls of a formal living or dining room. Besides, no one dresses up anymore....this is a great excuse to see your family looking their very best!
