A Magical Miracle {San Antonio Family Photographer}

Two years ago, I had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful family that I have known forever at DisneyWorld. We had an ALL day adventure as we photographed at The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, The Grand Floridian and The Beach Club Resort. It was a fun, adventurous and exhausting day for all of us. However, it was especially exhausting for the littlest girl, Claudia.

Now, I do not know all the details but here are the basics: Claudia has an unknown medical issue that has taken away her ability to walk. In fact, she could only stand completely assisted by her sisters during our portrait session in 2012. Speaking with her mom over the years, they have had many tests and tried many different medications to help Claudia but none worked. Until late 2012.

When Claudia and her mom WALKED into my studio to pick up their album, I was shocked and completely unaware that Claudia had made such AMAZING progress in such a short time. I know this wonderful family is jumping for joy and praising God for this miracle for Claudia.

Fast forward 1.5 years and we were planning our trip to Disney again. Turns out, we were going to be there at the SAME time again. Are you kidding me? That was it, I KNEW what we had to do. This "princess-at-heart" needed portraits at Disney...Walking. Standing. Skipping through the Magic Kingdom. So we did it!

So here are some of the images from 2012 and then some images from 2014.

I was SO lucky to be able to capture this for this WONDERFUL family and to document this miracle.

Maui AGAIN? {San Antonio Family Portrait Photographer}

We have been on an "every other year" visit to the Hawaiian Islands which lands us to the gorgeous beaches on even years. HOWEVER, we have already been contacted by TWO families who would like me to go with them to Maui next year...2015.

This wasn't in my travel plans, but I am trying to make it work ( I guess I can be persuaded). We are heading to Europe for several weeks and already have 3 sessions BOOKED with a couple more that are "thinking about it". In order for me to make Hawaii work too, I will need to have at least THREE sessions in Maui.

Destination....EUROPE! {San Antonio Family Portrait Photographer}

We are SO EXCITED to have the opportunity to travel to Europe in June 2015 and photograph families and couples. Seriously, this is like a DREAM!

You know you WANT to go, so let's make it happen!
Paris....June 9-14
However, we are not limited to Paris the city. If you want to do portraits in Versailles....GREAT! If you have a favorite little spot you LOVE that is fairly close...AWESOME!
As of today, we already have the mornings of June 13th and 14th booked with two lucky families!
Germany...June 15-19
We are still deciding on our itinerary in Germany. We will be staying at a place close to Trier (the oldest city in Germany) and are planning on a trip to Luxemburg and wherever there are some beautiful castles. Call now before we finalize if you want to go to someplace you LOVE in Germany. I believe the biggest city closest to me will be Frankfurt.
London...June 19-25
The Tower Bridge, the London Eye, Big Ben, and much much more! Don't forget the countryside close to London, as we are open to venture out of the city a little too!
We are already booked for the morning of the 20th (or it could be the afternoon...still deciding) with another lucky family, but we still have plenty of openings!

What are the details?
The session fee is $650. This is for a sunrise or sunset session (whole session is about 3 hours depending on the desired locations)
There is a minimum order of $2000. All of that goes towards a portrait, or an album, or whatever your would like!
It is all PAID in ADVANCE of the trip.
You do NOT have to pay my expenses (since I have at least TWO sessions already).
