As of today (July 29, 2015) these are the locations that we are visiting next summer.
To clarify the European trip:
We will be holding a workshop for photographers in Tuscany June 5-11.
We already have a portrait session scheduled in London, England on June 21.
We are still in the planning stages of what to do "in between" those two events.
We are willing to go almost anywhere (there could be extra travel fees though) during June 12-20.
So NOW is the time to chat with us about your ideas for a European Portrait Session.

To clarify the Hawaii trip:
We have had many families show interest in Hawaii next summer. I currently have one family who has dates around the 4th of July already scheduled. We are looking at either Oahu or Maui or maybe even both (extra travel fees could be charged).
In order for Hawaii to happen, I need THREE families to place deposits for their portrait session prior to February 2016.

The image above has an incredibly powerful story behind it. This family, who recently had lost their father unexpectedly, vacationed in his favorite location...Destin, Florida. As a tribute to him, they sent off these heart shaped lanterns at sunset. It was a very emotional session for all involved, including myself and Trey having known this family for many, many years. We took many portraits during our session that showed faces and happy expressions, but this is the image that tugs at my heart. This is the image that tells their story and conveys their feelings, without even knowing who they are.

This summer we had the wonderful opportunity to head over to Europe. Our first stop was Paris where we did THREE SUNRISE portrait sessions. Sunrise was early...5:30am...but that was the ONLY time when the Eiffel Tower area wasn't totally covered with tourists.
I was lucky to be able to photograph another photographer and her husband. I convinced her to take a few of my family while we were all together. Yes, I had to get my boys (ages 9 and 11) up at 4:15am for THREE days in a row to go with us for our portrait sessions. I got a little grief but once up, they were having fun taking some "behind-the-scenes photos" of us doing our portrait session. And on this, the first day, we posed for some portraits ourselves.
