Urban Chic {San Antonio Family and Children Photographer}

This is seriously one of the coolest Urban locations EVER!

I have photographed here for the past few years but the owner has it for sale and it may no longer be available for photography. BEFORE that happens, get your family, child, high school senior, dancer, car or dog photographed in this amazing location!!

I don't know about you, but during these cold winter months (and it has been really cold for South Texas) I start daydreaming about going to warm places. I also start REALLY planning our summer excursions!

This summer is going to be a busy one. We will be gone for a good portion of the summer and will only have limited availability for sessions in the San Antonio area.

So, whether you are planning on joining us on one of our Destination Portraits, or planning one in San Antonio, take a look at the dates and locations so you can plan accordingly.

Amateur Photography Class {San Antonio Portrait Photographer}

Back by popular demand....I will be offering my

 "How to take better photos of your kids" 

class again!

For only a minimum donation of $35, I will share my expertise to mom's, dad's, grandparents, etc. 

The donation will be given to www.pmsf.org. 

This is the foundation for the Phelan-McDermid Syndrome that affects my son, Jacob. Every cent goes towards research on why this occurs and how we can help those affected by the rare genetic disorder.

The class will cover:

*the basics of a camera, lens and flash

*the basics of natural light and flash photography

*lenses

*how to handle the images once you have taken them

*storage tips on your digital files

and more....

It will be on Tuesday, February 25th from 6-8pm.

Open to everyone from high school age to 99yrs! :)

Bring your camera so we can talk about settings on YOUR particular camera.

This is NOT for professionals.

Exciting Awards from PPA

Trey and I just returned from Phoenix where we attended Imaging USA, the National Convention for the Professional Photographers of America. We were busy busy busy this year, attending meetings, chairing the PPA Charities Event and giving two educational programs.
Our Platform Program "The Art of Creating Beautiful Family Portraits" was very well attended and there were countless positive remarks from attendees. We love to educate other photographers as they grow and learn, giving back to the industry as we have been the recipients of a wonderful continuing education throughout the years.

In addition to all of this, PPA has awarded me the following:

 I am very blessed to do what I LOVE for a living. and I hope to do it until I 

physically can not any more!

So far, 2014 is off to an amazing start!
