About Me

Hi there, I am Elizabeth, the owner, photographer and queen bee at Artistic Images. I have been so blessed to "work" for a living doing what I love the most...photographing people! I have been doing this now for 22 years!!! It doesn't even seem possible that I have been in business for that long.

In the last 22 years, my life and the studio sure has changed.

I started the studio with my parents, Penny and Sterling, who were my biggest cheerleaders as well as doing everything business-related. I worked on becoming the best Portrait Artist I could be and they handled the rest. What a SWEET deal! The business grew fast and we purchased, designed and built our fabulous studio and 2.5 acre portrait garden in 1996.

Meanwhile, I got married to my amazing husband, Trey, and had three gorgeous little boys. Our oldest son, Jacob has a very rare genetic disorder called Phelan-McDermid Syndrome. Click here for Jacob's blog. Our younger two sons are Jackson and Joshua and are into all things BOY!

As the years went by, I learned and learned and earned my Master of Photography, Photographic Craftsman and Certified Professional Photographer degrees. I competed in many competitions and was lucky enough to take home awards from the local, state, regional and national levels.

Life is never boring. I try to balance my business with my personal life (a never ending task). I give 100% of myself to my clients and my work and I am proud of the work I have created for hundreds, maybe even thousands of families around the world.

I am so passionate about the ART of photography. I try to educate and mentor other up and coming photographers in my spare time, striving to keep beautiful & classic portraiture alive and well. If you are interested in learning more about my adventures in teaching professionals visit www.inspiredworkshops.net

My parents have mostly "retired" and my husband Trey and I run the studio on a daily basis. We have two wonderful employees that have been with us forever, Sandy and Rebecca.

Welcome to my E-Blog where I post photographs, random things, special events and more.
I hope you enjoy!

Elizabeth
