The setting was Jagged Ridge Park in The Woodlands and just as we arrived for the wedding ceremony, a front came in brought a little rain for a few moments and then cool air! As we all know, July in Texas is HOT, but this afternoon was shear perfection. This very intimate wedding (only 9 people total) was just what it was meant to be: full of love, laughter and family. This couple is absolutely the sweetest two people that are just perfect for each other and I truly enjoyed capturing their joy on their Wedding Day.
In between the wedding ceremony and the dinner, we stopped off a The Woodlands Waterway to capture the sunset and the lights along the river.
A family dinner at Kirby's was the site for the reception and I enjoyed sitting around the table with this wonderful family laughing and capturing the evening. A fabulous meal and a delicious cake, from Cathy Young brought all the way from San Antonio, was the perfect ending to a wonderful wedding.
One of my favorite parts of being in business for over 25 years, is the opportunity I get to see my clients during all of their important life events. I have been photographing this family for about 20 years give or take a few (but who is counting?) and I was especially honored to be a part of this special day.
Congratulations to Kaitlin and Chris 💗
